Recently we had the opportunity to sit down and talk with one of the most well known artists on Premium Renders. It was great to find out more about his life and his ambitions as well as tips to us on how to increase our artistic ability. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I did when writing it.

.Omega : Hi Kock!e, It's great to have this oppurtunity to talk with you, can you tell our readers a little bit more about yourself?

Kock!e : My real name is Alex and i'm from the Netherlands. I'm 23 years old. In real life i'm a Graphic Designer (DTP) at a movie company(distribution). They buy movierights from new and older movies so they can publish them in the Netherlands and Belgium. I'm the one who changes artwork for dvd & blurayinlays and labels. I also make posters, advertisments and brochures for the company for promoting movies/films. I'm doing this work just for about 6 months. This is my first real designjob after my study.

.Omega : Sounds like they're keeping you pretty busy there. How did you get into working with photoshop and creating digital artwork?

Kock!e : After high school i studied for Graphic Designer. That took me 3 years. I learned all basic things there with Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, etc. In my spare time at home i played a lot with photoshop makin signatures and logo's. I also like to render pictures. It gives me a good feeling that other people can use the renders.

.Omega : It's funny that you mentioned your renders, a lot of people really enjoy them. How do you consistently find such great stocks to render?

Kock!e : Sometimes i find them on google but most of the (game)renders are from gamewallpapers.com. They have high quality wallpapers of the latest games. I also like rendering comics (marvel), i use scanned comics for that so i have huge pictures i can render. How bigger, how easier

.Omega : Those are some awesome tips for our readers to look into. Now here's the million dollar question; What would you rather do, design an awesome sig or render a premium render?

Kock!e : The last months i didnt design anything, only rendering pics. Its because my work i think, when i get home i'm not really into designing anymore. So back on the question, i would render a great picture.

.Omega : Fair enough. I suppose if I had to design everyday for work it would get old to me as well. Right now what would you consider your top five renders?

Kock!e : Uhm my top 5 renders, i think i have more

Justice League

Tekken

Tomb Raider

Vennom

Wolverine

.Omega : You're right, I think there are some others that I personally would have put in as my choices, but these are great cuts as well. What would you consider best work of art?

Kock!e : I really don't know, i made a lot of great signatures.

.Omega : Ok let me ask the question a different way, If your computer said I'm going to never run Photoshop or any other image editing software, and you can't get another PC (I know that's what you would say). Give us the 5 signatures you would keep and why.

Kock!e : These are a couple i really like. I love grunge/smudge style in signatures. Makes great ownmade backgrounds where the render blends in very good.

Assassins Creed Sig

Crysis Sig

Optimus Prime Sig

Rainbow Six Vegas Sig

Wolverine Sig

.Omega : Nice choices, let's hope your computer doesn't start talking to you, so we can see more art like these. Is there anything new that you're currently working on?

Kock!e : Not at the moment, sorry.

.Omega : Well that wraps up this interview, thank you for your time, and do you have any final thoughts for our readers?

Kock!e : Be creative!

.Omega : Thanks again Kock!e and we look forward to seeing you around the netMist community.
