Everyone can say that they have spent hours looking at a blank canvas in school, due to lack of inspiration, but not everyone can say that they enjoyed it. One big advantage of art is that it opens your mind & your imagination, you start to think like a kid again with all these weird yet fascinating fantasies. You being to read deeply into ones art work and look at it in all different angels instead of just seeing an image or painting of a face, you begin to look at the details such as his/hers facial expressions and their body posture, all these little details tells a lot about the art work and perhaps how the artist was feeling or how they intended the viewer to look at it.

One of the main advantages of art is the morale advantage, being proud of yourself for something in which you created, which eventually builds up to confidence. I've heard some people say that "The more years go by that people are involved with art, the less inspiration they will have due to them running out of ideas" - This is wrong in my opinion, I believe that as the years progress you will find it easier to be inspired because as i said, it opens up your mind and you will be able to look at everyday things and get an awesome idea from it and implement it into your work. If you get really good you can even take art as a career path, there are so many different routes you can take as an art designer; anything from a painter to a graphics designer for a video game or a website, and jobs like these pays pretty well, and if you like to do art as a hobby then why not get paid to do your hobby?

Morale advantage also relates to Achievement, the sense of pride you get when you finish what you call a 'master-piece' and then showing it off to your friends because you are proud to say that you created it. It's like the feeling of when you were little and your daddy was teaching you how to ride a bike and one minute you'd be feeling safe with daddy right behind you pushing you and keeping you up-right, then the next minute you turn around and you see him getting smaller as you ride further away all by yourself.
